The 111th Traditional Karaurgan Karakucak Wrestling Festival was held with great enthusiasm in Karaurgan village, located in the Sarıkamış district of Kars. Organized with the contributions of the Governorship, Sarıkamış District Governorate, Sarıkamış Municipality, local businesspeople, and the village headmen of Karaurgan and surrounding areas, the event hosted 250 athletes from clubs across different regions of Turkey
Following highly competitive matches, Yunus Emre Yıldız claimed the title of chief wrestler (Başpehlivan), while AK Party Kars Deputy Adem Çalkın was elected as the "Wrestling Aga" (patron of the festival). Wrestlers who won first place in their respective categories followed tradition by touring the wrestling field to receive pocket money and tips from the spectators.
