An important step has been taken for the "Prevention of Calf Losses Project," which was developed to improve the livestock sector and reduce calf mortality rates in Kars. The protocol for the 15 million TL budgeted project, financed by the Eastern Anatolia Project (DAP) Regional Development Administration, has been officially signed.
The project officially entered its implementation phase following the signing of the protocol between Halil İbrahim Güray, President of the DAP Regional Development Administration, and Enver Aydın, the Kars Provincial Director of Agriculture and Forestry
Enver Aydın, the Kars Provincial Director of Agriculture and Forestry, emphasized that the project is of great importance for regional livestock farming. Stating that Kars is one of Türkiye's major livestock hubs, Aydın noted that efforts aimed at reducing calf losses will provide a direct and significant economic boost to the sector.
