Hailstorm Hits Kars After Heavy Rainfall
KARS – Following weather warnings issued by the Meteorological Service, heavy rainfall in Kars was followed by a sudden hailstorm that affected several parts of the city. The industrial area was particularly hard hit, with hail covering roads and vehicles in a blanket of white.
As the storm intensified, residents and drivers sought shelter for their vehicles under the roofs of nearby fuel stations to prevent damage. Temporary traffic disruptions were reported in some areas, while many people recorded the unusual weather event on their mobile phones
