Significant steps have been taken within the scope of the "Pasture Improvement and Management Project," conducted to strengthen the livestock infrastructure and increase pasture productivity in Kars. As part of the project, 12 tons of fertilizer were applied to a pasture area of 1,200 decares, and a total of 6,150 kilograms of sainfoin seeds were distributed to 41 producers.
The opening program of the project, held in the Kuyucuk village of Kars, was attended by Kars Governor Ziya Polat and AK Party Kars Deputy Adem Çalkın. Meeting with the producers during the program, the protocol members received information about the ongoing efforts to develop livestock farming in the region and stated that support for the farmers would continue.
