Ruben Rubinyan, Deputy Speaker of the Armenian Parliament and Special Representative for normalization with Turkey, announced that as a result of talks with Turkey, Armenia has obtained the opportunity to use the Akhalkalaki-Kars railway and is no longer in a "railway deadlock."
According to the Armenian media, Rubinyan answered journalists' questions regarding Turkey-Armenia relations. Noting that there have been many recent developments on this matter, Rubinyan particularly highlighted that direct trade with Turkey has been established and the Armenian side has secured the opportunity to utilize the Akhalkalaki-Kars railway line
