District Governor İsmail Demirtaş inspected the ongoing border patrol roads project on-site, which is being constructed to enhance border security in the Akyaka district of Kars. Officials stated that work is progressing rapidly and the project will significantly increase the mobility of security forces.
Within the scope of the "Border Patrol Roads Construction Project," aimed at ensuring more effective security along the border line, operations continue without interruption. District Governor İsmail Demirtaş visited the field to inspect the project first-hand. During his visit to the construction site, Governor Demirtaş received a comprehensive briefing on the latest status of the work from the contractor company officials and representatives of the relevant institutions.
Emphasizing the vital importance of the patrol roads in strengthening border security, Governor Demirtaş noted that the roads currently under construction will facilitate transport for security forces along the border, enabling a faster response to potential incidents.
Governor Demirtaş instructed officials to maintain strict adherence to quality standards as well as occupational health and safety regulations. It was emphasized that upon completion of the project, the transportation infrastructure along the border line will be strengthened, allowing for more efficient execution of security operations.
