The 2nd Traditional Circumcision Festival organized in the Sarıkamış district of Kars began with great enthusiasm accompanied by traditional drums and pipes. Following a festive city convoy for the children dressed in special circumcision attire who gathered in front of the municipality building, the celebration moved to the government house square. Around 200 children are taking part in the event, enjoying climbing courses, courage walls, penalty kick zones, and magic shows. Local businessman Oktay Yavlal distributed flying balloons to all the children present. Sarıkamış Mayor Serdar Kılıç stated that they were proud to share the happiness of around 200 children, adding that daytime activities would be followed by free public concerts in the evenings. Expressing their delight, both residents and children thanked the organizers as the multi-day festival continues into the evening.
