Erzurum Regional Director of Forestry, Serkan Karakurt, visited the Kars Forestry Management Directorate as part of his official schedule in Kars. Accompanied by the Kars Forestry Management Director, Karakurt inspected the ongoing forestry activities on-site and received detailed briefings regarding current projects.
During the visit, assessments were also conducted at the designated site for the Kars City Forest in the Sukapı Neighborhood. Discussions focused on the current status of the area, its potential usage, and plans to meet local recreational needs. Following the completion of allocation and permit procedures, the site is planned to be transformed into a "Nation's Forest" (Millet Ormanı), creating a new green social space for the residents of Kars
