Mehmet Ali Arslan Media Group — The Republican People's Party (CHP) Kars Provincial Chairman Onur Uludaşdemir and his executive board have been dismissed from their duties.
Following the court's "absolute nullity" (mutlak butlan) ruling, Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu returned to his post as the CHP Chairman. Under his leadership, the Central Executive Board (MYK) convened and announced a major restructuring, deciding to dismiss 26 provincial chairmen across Turkey and refer 7 provincial chairmen to the disciplinary board for permanent expulsion.
As part of this sweeping decision, Onur Uludaşdemir, who had been serving as the CHP Kars Provincial Chairman for many years, was removed from office along with his administration. Furthermore, Uludaşdemir was referred to the Disiplin Kurulu (Disciplinary Committee) with a request for his definitive expulsion from the party under precautionary measures.
According to reports, the dismissed chairman Uludaşdemir will hold a press conference in front of the party headquarters tomorrow before officially vacating the provincial building alongside his board members. The party's General Headquarters is expected to announce the new Kars provincial chairman in the coming days.
